Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Cléber Valle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Niculae Isvoreanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Cléber Valle slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Dráusio Ortiz came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C.BARLAD's Nichifor Codruț. But to his dismay, Nichifor Codruț quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 10thth minute of the game Paul Irod who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VERONA FC's Dráusio Ortiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber Valle in the 14th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Niculae Isvoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Niculae Isvoreanu made a huge save. After a rather tough play, VERONA FC's Fabiano Lago got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 24 played minutes F.C.BARLAD got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Bara. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber Valle in the 30th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Niculae Isvoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nichifor Codruț in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dráusio Ortiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When F.C.BARLAD's Nichifor Codruț in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VERONA FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute, Liviu Huștea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Nichifor Codruț managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.BARLAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Nichifor Codruț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráusio Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nichifor Codruț's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dráusio Ortiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. With his leg Niculae Isvoreanu managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when VERONA FC's Marcus Batista fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dida Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nichifor Codruț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Dráusio Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Paul Irod hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Niculae Isvoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Batista in the 54th minute of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Nichifor Codruț who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VERONA FC's Dráusio Ortiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dráusio Ortiz came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C.BARLAD's Nichifor Codruț. But to his dismay, Nichifor Codruț quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Nichifor Codruț came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the F.C.BARLAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nichifor Codruț couldn't finish the play. A collision led to VERONA FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Fabiano Lago hit a great ball. The supporters of F.C.BARLAD booed when VERONA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Nichifor Codruț who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VERONA FC's Dráusio Ortiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. VERONA FC made a substitution. Renatinho Gaúcho replaced Cléber Valle. Dráusio Ortiz was a little too slow when Nichifor Codruț got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-3. After 85 minutes, Paul Irod mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C.BARLAD and the VERONA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paul Irod hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the game, VERONA FC's Marcus Batista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niculae Isvoreanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. If Nichifor Codruț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dráusio Ortiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nichifor Codruț's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Marcu Filimon hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th match minute, F.C.BARLAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Bara to maneuver through the defense. József Albert hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. F.C.BARLAD were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over VERONA FC's much stronger midfield.
