The STARGARD FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Reuter should have stopped the shot. In the 10thth minute of the game Miroslav Klose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STARGARD FC's Roque Reuter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roque Reuter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Klose in the 12th minute of play. The QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Miroslav Klose might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roque Reuter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miroslav Klose ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the match, STARGARD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesualdo Pedroso came free, but Roque Reuter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of STARGARD FC booed when QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksey Denisov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. STARGARD FC's Roque Reuter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Klose in the 25th minute of play. If Miroslav Klose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Roque Reuter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Homero Igrejas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes STARGARD FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Junitz. If Miroslav Klose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Miroslav Klose's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Reuter was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gernot Sell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Homero Igrejas got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Miroslav Klose lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Roque Reuter. Miroslav Klose's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Roque Reuter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 62nd minute, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roque Reuter. Roque Reuter yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. With his leg Roque Reuter managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. STARGARD FC's Roque Reuter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save STARGARD FC from getting a goal against them. Roque Reuter came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose. But to his dismay, Miroslav Klose quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Egídio Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Bomba kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Homero Igrejas took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roque Reuter. Roque Reuter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Miroslav Klose's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roque Reuter firmly grabbed it by the left post. Roque Reuter stood somewhat misplaced when Miroslav Klose came free in front of goal and shot 0-12 to the left of him in the 93 minute. A collision led to QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Homero Igrejas hit a great ball.
