With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardino Vedillo in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Oskar Odén saved Halcones Azules from getting behind. The supporters of Cervezanegra A.C. booed when Halcones Azules was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Rufo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardino Vedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Oskar Odén having to interfere. Evelio Quintyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Delmiro Pitin made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, Halcones Azules's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Vedillo came free, but Karl-Oskar Odén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cervezanegra A.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Evelio Quintyn scored to the left of an out of position Delmiro Pitin, making the score, 1-0. Arnulfo Rufo took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmiro Pitin. Delmiro Pitin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Clemente Olentzaro kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Bernardino Vedillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Oskar Odén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Arnulfo Rufo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Cervezanegra A.C.'s Delmiro Pitin got control of the ball when Evelio Quintyn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Feliberto Joanes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Clemente Olentzaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmiro Pitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Lando in the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Everardo Sotero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cervezanegra A.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Sotero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Oskar Odén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Halcones Azules's Robustiano Mosen got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Halcones Azules's Emiliano Peli was substituted for Gerardo Lando. The supporters of Cervezanegra A.C. booed when Halcones Azules was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Mosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cervezanegra A.C.'s Clemente Olentzaro got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmiro Pitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Natal in the 75th minute of play. Delmiro Pitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Peli, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Halcones Azules's Augusto Ticho was substituted for Robustiano Mosen. 87 minutes into the match, Emiliano Peli notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Cervezanegra A.C.'s Delmiro Pitin. Delmiro Pitin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Arnulfo Rufo fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Halcones Azules's protests and gave Arnulfo Rufo a yellow card for diving instead. Cervezanegra A.C.'s Fabricio Cordario was substituted for Hugo Joanes. Arnulfo Rufo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Everardo Sotero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Pitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Peli in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute Maximo Natal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Pitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cervezanegra A.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Halcones Azules.
