In a very dangerous position, a player in Glasston fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Chorroarín's Jorge Gomesano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonty Park. Jonty Park made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Florencio Rodriguez sent off a good shot on target. When Gavino Vergaray came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Chorroarín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Vergaray couldn't finish the play. Glasston's Jonty Park proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Glasston from getting a goal against them. Jonty Park showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Rodriguez in the 23rd minute of the match. Anier Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephan Belford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phillip Finden scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anier Abaurre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anier Abaurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Sansoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Gavino Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Gavino Vergaray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chorroarín's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Vergaray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonty Park breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonty Park showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Reno in the 44th minute of the match. Phillip Finden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Anier Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavino Vergaray was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Glasston's Adriano Sansoni got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Jonty Park took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Glasston's Alberto Holdsworth got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Vergaray in the 56th minute of play forced Glasston's goalkeeper Jonty Park to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes of play, Chorroarín's Florencio Rodriguez made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Iztal scored 4-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonty Park, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Holdsworth made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chorroarín's Florencio Rodriguez. 72 minutes into the match, Glasston's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Iztal came free, but Jonty Park reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chorroarín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliseo Egoitz in the 73rd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Glasston's goalie and right to Jacinto Reno. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Glasston's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Tiburcio Iztal took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonty Park. Jonty Park dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Tiburcio Iztal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Chorroarín's Tiburcio Iztal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonty Park made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. After a rather tough play, Glasston's Kenneth Perandis got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Eliseo Egoitz, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jonty Park showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Gomesano, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Chorroarín's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
