Frankie Gunn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Brion in the 3rd minute. Brooklyn SC's Frankie Gunn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Brooklyn SC from getting a goal against them. Lionel Mandrake lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 12 played minutes Brooklyn SC got a freekick which was hit by Lionel Mandrake. When Oscar Raymond came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Canalla Fuego fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Raymond couldn't finish the play. Brooklyn SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Aldo-Pedro Peto scored to the left of an out of position Frankie Gunn, making the score, 1-0. In the 19th minute Rigoberto Elivareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frankie Gunn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Brooklyn SC's Richard Roma got a free kick in the 25th minute. Oscar Raymond struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Frankie Gunn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canalla Fuego. 30 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Bermudez came free, but Frankie Gunn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes Silverio Bermudez rounded Brooklyn SC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Frankie Gunn was a little too slow when Silverio Bermudez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 3-0. Frankie Gunn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Bermudez in the 35th minute of play. Erasmo Brion kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Brooklyn SC booed when Canalla Fuego was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Raymond didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Frankie Gunn came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Canalla Fuego's Erasmo Brion. But to his dismay, Erasmo Brion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Erasmo Brion took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frankie Gunn. Frankie Gunn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Titus Pierson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Orlando Cebrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Canalla Fuego getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Oscar Raymond hit a great ball. Brooklyn SC's Titus Pierson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Canalla Fuego. Brooklyn SC's Frankie Gunn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo-Pedro Peto in the 75th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play, Canalla Fuego's Aldo-Pedro Peto made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frankie Gunn was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Aldo-Pedro Peto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canalla Fuego fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Erasmo Brion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 minutes, Richard Roma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brooklyn SC and the Canalla Fuego players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Brooklyn SC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Richard Roma hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ricardo Montalban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brooklyn SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Montalban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Cebrian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 minutes, Cornelio Henric mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canalla Fuego and the Brooklyn SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cornelio Henric hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Canalla Fuego walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
