Spectators: 176 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rareș Ţeica made the kick off which started today's match. Frankie Gunn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Davidescu in the 6th minute of play. Iosif Vladimirescu came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Brooklyn SC's Richard Roma. But to his dismay, Richard Roma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Frankie Gunn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Ţeica in the 10th minute of the match. Frankie Gunn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Ţeica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Davidescu came free, but Frankie Gunn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, The Valar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintilă Coroian to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Brooklyn SC's Iosif Vladimirescu threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Titus Pierson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 18 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Popescu came free, but Frankie Gunn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of The Valar booed when Brooklyn SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Roma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rareș Ţeica hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Ricardo Montalban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to The Valar getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Claudiu Becheanu hit a great ball. The The Valar fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when The Valar's Iordache Donici looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 40th minute, Brooklyn SC's Richard Roma dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After 43 played minutes Brooklyn SC got a freekick which was hit by Sheldon Levine. 45 minutes into the game, Greg Giraldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brooklyn SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Valar the free kick. After a rather tough play, Brooklyn SC's Greg Giraldo got a free kick in the 45th minute. With a little luck, The Valar's Iosif Vladimirescu got control of the ball when Richard Roma tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Iordache Donici took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frankie Gunn. Frankie Gunn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 59 minutes into the match, Ricardo Montalban notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of The Valar's Iosif Vladimirescu. Iosif Vladimirescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frankie Gunn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Davidescu in the 62nd minute of play. Iosif Vladimirescu came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Brooklyn SC's Eddie Zamora. But to his dismay, Eddie Zamora quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Eddie Zamora struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Iosif Vladimirescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brooklyn SC. 74 minutes into the game, Rareș Ţeica lined in a short shot 4-3 behind a frustrated Frankie Gunn. Ion Otopeanu made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Brooklyn SC's Eddie Zamora. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iordache Donici got free with Frankie Gunn in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as The Valar's Rareș Ţeica slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Frankie Gunn. That made the score 4-4 after 87 minutes of play. Frankie Gunn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rareș Ţeica in the 93rd minute. Șerban Ionescu got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Andrei Davidescu. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
