In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Enrico Longo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gervasio Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinando Chiavetta in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Ermegildo Frechoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Frechoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Amadei in the 17th minute of play. When Alonzo Dalmau fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's protests and gave Alonzo Dalmau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Alonzo Dalmau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd match minute, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Lesardo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Ettore Amadei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervasio Vargas was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Ermegildo Frechoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gervasio Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinando Chiavetta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ruperto Hartz hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinando Chiavetta came free, but Gervasio Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lunatics of Arianrhod's zone, Ermegildo Frechoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrico Longo came out of the goal and Ermegildo Frechoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Lunatics of Arianrhod booed when CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Montrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Lunatics of Arianrhod getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ermanno Di Franco hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, Ferdinando Chiavetta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gervasio Vargas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermegildo Frechoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Gorosti to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Francesco Romino took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Gervasio Vargas to make any attempt to save it. 59 minutes into the match, Francesco Romino notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Gervasio Vargas. Gervasio Vargas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Enrico Longo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Alonzo Dalmau got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 68 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Chiavetta. Gervasio Vargas was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Ferdinando Chiavetta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ferdinando Chiavetta really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 83rd minute Ettore Amadei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Ermegildo Frechoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrico Longo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Francesco Romino scored to the left of an out of position Gervasio Vargas, making the score, 0-7. 92 minutes into the game, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ettore Amadei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gervasio Vargas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. The CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lunatics of Arianrhod were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
