Claudio Antonangelis short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Edgar Badia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edgar Badia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achille Pasinati in the 15th minute of play. Emiliano Quintero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Colecchia having to interfere. Claudio Antonangeli in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edgar Badia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 32nd minute, PERSPOLIS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alfred Klawki fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Claudio Antonangeli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Badia was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. If Claudio Antonangeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Seggiano's Camillo Di Pietro got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 60 minutes of play, Seggiano's Achille Pasinati made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Badia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erasto Idiaquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Badia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Antonangeli went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Seggiano's Eugenio Colecchia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Seggiano from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seggiano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frutos Barrios was slow to take the kick. During this time PERSPOLIS's players had a chance to rest. Frutos Barrios made a great header on PERSPOLIS's corner, it was just that Seggiano's Eugenio Colecchia managed to reach the ball for a save. The corner went over the outstretched arms of PERSPOLIS's goalie and right to Alfred Klawki. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. PERSPOLIS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Seggiano getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alfred Klawki hit a great ball. Emiliano Quintero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Eugenio Colecchia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 86 played minutes Seggiano got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Sacchetti. In the 87th minute, Facundo Feria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PERSPOLIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 91 minutes into the match, Achille Pasinati notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of PERSPOLIS's Edgar Badia. Edgar Badia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Seggiano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
