In the 7th minute of the match, Jon Loarte tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Glyn Wedlock saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davi Alexandridis got free with Glyn Wedlock in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, Valiant F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Loarte came free, but Glyn Wedlock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valiant F.C's Glyn Wedlock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Loarte in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jay Little in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Weverton Pras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Glyn Wedlock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Loarte in the 24th minute of play. Glyn Wedlock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Loarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Dale Fawell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Valiant F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gürel Ergünay was slow to take the kick. During this time Leon Sport Club's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Valdo Prado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Glyn Wedlock quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Weverton Pras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Fawell in the 39th minute of play. When Davi Alexandridis came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Leon Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davi Alexandridis couldn't finish the play. Jon Loarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, Leon Sport Club's Davi Alexandridis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Glyn Wedlock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dale Fawell was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davi Alexandridis in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glyn Wedlock saved Valiant F.C from getting behind. Jon Loarte took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glyn Wedlock. Glyn Wedlock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Dale Fawell struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Weverton Pras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valiant F.C. 67 minutes into the game, Zane Read was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valiant F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leon Sport Club the free kick. Edmundo Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Valiant F.C's Weverton Pras threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Charlie Monk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Glyn Wedlock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Alexandridis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes Valiant F.C got a freekick which was hit by Rex Hatcher. Davi Alexandridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glyn Wedlock having to interfere. Wesley Coogan charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wesley Coogan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, Valiant F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Coogan to maneuver through the defense. Charlie Monk's late challenge caught a Leon Sport Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charlie Monk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, Valiant F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Monk to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the game, Leon Sport Club's Jon Loarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Glyn Wedlock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 91st minute, John Paul Owen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jon Loarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th match minute, Leon Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Dracena to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Leon Sport Club were the better team. Leon Sport Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
