Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Ramalho in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tyron Tufignio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Marcos Ramalho sped through Floriana Celtics's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tyron Tufignio. A collision led to Floriana Celtics getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Miguel Piscopo hit a great ball. In the 17th minute of the match Habib Ali Picavea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tyron Tufignio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gláuber Brodel made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Mike Stivala sent off a good shot on target. Miguel Piscopo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gláuber Brodel came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Piscopo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute Miguel Piscopo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Miguel Piscopo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Piscopo came free, but Gláuber Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Morro Grande E.C's Marcos Ramalho in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Floriana Celtics's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 played minutes Floriana Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Piscopo. After having played for 40 minutes, Marcos Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morro Grande E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Piscopo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gláuber Brodel came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Piscopo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Piscopo to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Jorge Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Piscopo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Mike Stivala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Ramalho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Tyron Tufignio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 65 minutes into the match, Miguel Piscopo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gláuber Brodel. Morro Grande E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Piscopo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Gláuber Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josh Carbonaro in the 77th minute of play. Miguel Piscopo scored 4-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gláuber Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th match minute, Floriana Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Piscopo to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Miguel Piscopo notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Morro Grande E.C's Gláuber Brodel. Gláuber Brodel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miguel Piscopo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
