With an extended leg and a bit of luck Li Feng Guo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Andreas Daskalakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Li Feng Guo was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Li Feng Guo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charis Pomonis's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 31st minute, Taavi Ööbik fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 39 minutes, Voldemar Jõgi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kogimyae JK and the AFC Ajax players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute of the match AFC Ajax got a corner. Li Feng Guo made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Charis Pomonis sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, Nontas Bebis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marek Kont had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. Kogimyae JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Ajax the free kick.
