Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cipriano Bernat took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cayetano Sarracino struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Nery Pumpido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almeyra F.C.. After 5 played minutes Almeyra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luis Licerio. After 9 minutes of play, Papato Tatengue's Cipriano Bernat made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Froilan Llorian was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Bernat in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Llorian saved Almeyra F.C. from getting behind. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Froilan Llorian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Braulio Txanton took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nery Pumpido. Nery Pumpido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cipriano Bernat's late challenge caught a Almeyra F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Bernat helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Papato Tatengue getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cipriano Bernat hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Braulio Txanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Bernat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Danilo Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nery Pumpido came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Almeyra F.C.'s Braulio Txanton. But to his dismay, Braulio Txanton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Froilan Llorian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 45 played minutes Papato Tatengue got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Totakoxe. 48 minutes into the match, Papato Tatengue's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Txanton came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Braulio Txanton made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Cayetano Sarracino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nery Pumpido was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Txanton in the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Cipriano Bernat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Papato Tatengue's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Bernat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Llorian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Papato Tatengue booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Pes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Licerio made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Danilo Remir immediately put the ball in play. Papato Tatengue's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Sarracino in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Papato Tatengue booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Pes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Francisco Perico made a precise shot to the right of Nery Pumpido. Papato Tatengue's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Remir in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Papato Tatengue's Cipriano Bernat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Froilan Llorian. Froilan Llorian yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. A collision led to Papato Tatengue getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Aurelio Cordera hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Almeyra F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
