After 4 minutes, Elpidio Selmo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the All Boys 22 and the Florão da América players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, All Boys 22's Elpidio Selmo got a free kick in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Florão da América's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Ramone came free, but Edmílson de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Alfonso Harkaitz in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Florão da América's Zé Carlos de Lara. In the 14th minute, Dráuzio Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 16 minutes, Silvio Ramone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All Boys 22's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Ramone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmílson de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Telo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Silvio Ramone took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmílson de Lara. Edmílson de Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Leonardo Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleksi Lehmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Ignazio having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Elpidio Selmo made a precise shot to the right of Edmílson de Lara. Florão da América's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Leonel Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th match minute, Florão da América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Donatello to maneuver through the defense. Edmílson de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Selmo in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aleksi Lehmann to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Florão da América's goalkeeper Edmílson de Lara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Selmo. The supporters of All Boys 22 booed when Florão da América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elpidio Selmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Edmílson de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes All Boys 22 got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Ramone. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Cordeiro in the 64th minute of play forced All Boys 22's goalkeeper Benicio Ignazio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Ramone hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Aleksi Lehmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 76 minutes of play, All Boys 22's Elpidio Selmo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmílson de Lara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mauro Ciano hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Aleksi Lehmann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benicio Ignazio. All Boys 22's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 92 minutes All Boys 22's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aleksi Lehmann who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Aleksi Lehmann got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benicio Ignazio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
