Academia 1903's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Lorenzo Eriz scored to the left of an out of position Herminio Resto, making the score, 1-0. In the 44th match minute, Academia 1903 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Orlanda to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenzo Eriz to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Academia 1903 booed when PARA QUE TE TRAJE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Che didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Gorosti in the 75th minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Herminio Resto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Academia 1903's Lino Roldanillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cayetano Garoa. Cayetano Garoa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. PARA QUE TE TRAJE's Cayetano Garoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Roldanillo in the 94th minute of play. PARA QUE TE TRAJE were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Academia 1903 to leave the ground with a draw.
