Olcay Öztaylan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Balboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Ziyapaşa SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Balboa came free, but Olcay Öztaylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ion Balboa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olcay Öztaylan. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. After 17 played minutes Ion Balboa rounded Ziyapaşa SK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. After a rather tough play, Ziyapaşa SK's Mehmet Ali Işılay got a free kick in the 19th minute. Ion Balboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ziyapaşa SK's Olcay Öztaylan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Balboa in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Ion Balboa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HORTALEZA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Liberto Jofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olcay Öztaylan made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Víctor Cartagena sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th match minute, HORTALEZA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ion Balboa to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Hidayet Hoyrat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl Llinares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Valentín Buenafuente recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olcay Öztaylan. Valentín Buenafuente showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. 46 minutes into the match, Ion Balboa notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Ziyapaşa SK's Olcay Öztaylan. Olcay Öztaylan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hidayet Hoyrat was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the game Kılıç Uğursel made a throw-in which Cihangir Koral played forward. Hidayet Hoyrat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 54 minutes into the match, HORTALEZA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hidayet Hoyrat came free, but Raúl Llinares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Valentín Buenafuente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HORTALEZA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 59 minutes into the game, HORTALEZA FC's Ion Balboa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olcay Öztaylan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Valentín Buenafuente struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Olcay Öztaylan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HORTALEZA FC. After 65 played minutes Ziyapaşa SK got a freekick which was hit by Arif Egemen Kıvılcım. Valentín Buenafuente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olcay Öztaylan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ion Balboa in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Ziyapaşa SK getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Ion Balboa sped through Ziyapaşa SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olcay Öztaylan. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. HORTALEZA FC fully deserved thier win.
