But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sherlock Holmes couldn't finish the play. Göran Ambjörnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sherlock Holmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Björkdal in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Montenegro saved Maverick Futebol Clube from getting behind. After having played for 25 minutes, Sherlock Holmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maverick Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sherlock Holmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Lars Björkdal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Åke Eriksson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vinícius Haaland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Göran Ambjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Sherlock Holmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maverick Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 63 minutes into the game, Maverick Futebol Clube's Sherlock Holmes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göran Ambjörnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Michael Haglund hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Maverick Futebol Clube's Sherlock Holmes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Göran Ambjörnsson made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Sherlock Holmes sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Sherlock Holmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Göran Ambjörnsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Sherlock Holmes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Göran Ambjörnsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Vinícius Haaland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Göran Ambjörnsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. The supporters of Maverick Futebol Clube booed when Samurai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Åke Eriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Sherlock Holmes lined in a short shot 0-10 behind a frustrated Göran Ambjörnsson. When the final whistle sounded Maverick Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Samurai.
