The crowd rose to their feet as Los Golosos's Adrian Transito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valdomiro Lara. That made the score 2-1 after 24 minutes of play. Wilton Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute, Franklin Pinheiro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 60th minute Moises Tuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilton Queirós during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wilton Queirós hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Teodoro Prado from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got Antonio Roma's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 87th minute Moises Tuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Teresópolis F.C booed when Los Golosos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Cordarrol didn't get a good kick on the ball.
