If Celestino Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 8 minutes into the match, Celestino Fonda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Santio. Pintó Un Tinto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celestino Fonda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Celestino Fonda took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Santio. Roman Santio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 19th minute, Celestino Fonda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Chusca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The supporters of Pintó Un Tinto booed when Club Atletico Chusca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Jurgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celestino Fonda might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Santio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celestino Fonda ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the game, Alvaro Atarrabi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiburcio Maore. Alvaro Atarrabi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Chusca's zone, Godfredo Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Maore came out of the goal and Godfredo Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th match minute, Club Atletico Chusca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Brion to maneuver through the defense. Club Atletico Chusca's Tiburcio Maore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Atarrabi in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Celestino Fonda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Godfredo Lopez took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Tiburcio Maore to make any attempt to save it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cirilo Gonchan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Indar came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roman Santio could save by the left post. Tiburcio Maore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Beila, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Eguen during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th minute, Horacio Eguen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Cirilo Gonchan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Santio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Fonda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roman Santio was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Celestino Fonda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Celestino Fonda really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. In the 67th minute, Leonel Checa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Pintó Un Tinto booed when Club Atletico Chusca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball.
