Germano Barreto's late challenge caught a Loco De Remate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Germano Barreto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Germano Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Madaleno took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel de Medeiros. Abel de Medeiros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 13th match minute, Montalcino SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. In the 17thth minute of the game Germano Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loco De Remate's Denis Uzuri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Germano Barreto in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Uzuri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 0-2 became the score in the 23rd minute when Jacobo Madaleno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Montalcino SE getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. João Adolfo da Silva hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match Jesus Librado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel de Medeiros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Loco De Remate were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Montalcino SE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arsenio Rodas took the corner. Loco De Remate's Jacobo Madaleno got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Loco De Remate booed when Montalcino SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Loco De Remate's Amadeo Hitzeder in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montalcino SE's goalie prevented a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Montalcino SE's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Madaleno came free, but Abel de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Loco De Remate's Marco Vito seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marco Vito the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Loco De Remate protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marco Vito had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 38th minute, Marco Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th match minute, Loco De Remate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Txeru to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 40 minutes, Paulo Renato Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montalcino SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Renato Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arsenio Rodas shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Germano Barreto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Montalcino SE getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Duarte das Neves hit a great ball. Amadeo Hitzeder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Abel de Medeiros made a huge save. Armando de Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Uzuri having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Amadeo Hitzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loco De Remate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montalcino SE the free kick. Amadeo Hitzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to Montalcino SE getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Olavo de Queirós hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Loco De Remate's Amadeo Hitzeder got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 80th minute, Olavo de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Montalcino SE defense, Amadeo Hitzeder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel de Medeiros. The Montalcino SE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel de Medeiros should have stopped the shot. After 90 minutes, Armando de Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montalcino SE and the Loco De Remate players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Montalcino SE got a freekick which was hit by Armando de Salles. When João Adolfo da Silva was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. A collision led to Montalcino SE getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. João Adolfo da Silva hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Montalcino SE's Olavo de Queirós got a free kick in the 95th minute. Abel de Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Amadeo Hitzeder sent off a good shot on target. Loco De Remate's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
