The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. phoinix fc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Freddy Rubio in the 4th minute. In the 11th match minute, phoinix fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Diegotxe to maneuver through the defense. Telecaster's Matias Goyo got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raimundo Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Nihat Albayrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Dionisio Iyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Orlanda in the 23rd minute of the match. Donato Benvido struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Dionisio Iyan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for phoinix fc. Ruperto Matei might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimundo Barrionuevo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruperto Matei ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute, Hermengildo Vigil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. phoinix fc's Freddy Rubio got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arif Nihat Albayrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Raimundo Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Goyo in the 38th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes phoinix fc got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Orlanda. In the 42nd minute Arif Nihat Albayrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Barrionuevo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionisio Iyan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Orlanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Benvido was the one to do the kick off. Dionisio Iyan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Benvido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arif Nihat Albayrak kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Dionisio Iyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Benvido in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the Telecaster defense, Donato Benvido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionisio Iyan. The Telecaster fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionisio Iyan should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd match minute, Telecaster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Orlin to maneuver through the defense. Telecaster's Dionisio Iyan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Benvido in the 63rd minute of play. Matias Goyo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Telecaster's Gualterio Mikolas was substituted for Matias Goyo. A collision led to Telecaster getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Matias Goyo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Benvido in the 71st minute of play forced Telecaster's goalkeeper Dionisio Iyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Ulises Orlanda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. phoinix fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Orlanda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raimundo Barrionuevo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Freddy Rubio hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Arif Nihat Albayrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 played minutes Telecaster got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Matei. Dionisio Iyan came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by phoinix fc's Donato Benvido. But to his dismay, Donato Benvido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 93rd minute, German Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saverio Valerio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. phoinix fc's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
