The Väderstad FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henric Sikström should have stopped the shot. Anders Källberg made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Jan-Åke Salqvist sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute Carl Broman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henric Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henric Sikström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Henric Sikström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Tingelholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Andreas Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Henric Sikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kim Tingelholm made a kick off. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Väderstad FK! In the 70th minute, Bajenland got a penalty, and Björn Vedholm placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Henric Sikström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Väderstad FK's Henric Sikström got control of the ball when Joar Dahlman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vilgot Brogren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Henric Sikström made a huge save. 77 minutes into the match, Bajenland's Kim Tingelholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henric Sikström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henric Sikström was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Kim Tingelholm capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The Väderstad FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henric Sikström should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Bajenland left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Väderstad FK.
