The supporters of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca booed when DPD FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcísio Calçada didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st of the match, Moise Ţurlău tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Nuno Pais got in the way and made a wonderful save. Dorin Cartiș hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Moise Ţurlău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Pais was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Moise Ţurlău showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moise Ţurlău to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moise Ţurlău couldn't finish the play. Iulian Stroe lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 63rd minute, one of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca. After 91 played minutes PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Moise Ţurlău. The crowd rose to their feet as Lisandro Rebocho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valer Onișoru. That made the score 2-3 in the 93 minute of play. DPD FC played a much better game than PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca and deserved their victory. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
