Bernt Nässén came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Leon Platense's Bonifacio Salvino. But to his dismay, Bonifacio Salvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bonifacio Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bernt Nässén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernt Nässén didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bonifacio Salvino went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the match, The Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Salvino came free, but Bernt Nässén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Abad was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andreas Alrot showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 28 minute of play. Sven-Erik Ekgren charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Erik Ekgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, The Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Erik Ekgren to maneuver through the defense. Bernt Nässén dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 41st minute of the match, Andreas Alrot tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roberto Abad saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Roberto Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Christoffersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Eleuterio Brion with Bonifacio Salvino as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After having played for 47 minutes, Georg Christoffersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Reds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georg Christoffersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andreas Alrot was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Pär Landin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Abad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andreas Alrot's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Roberto Abad came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by The Reds's Andreas Alrot. But to his dismay, Andreas Alrot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Bernt Nässén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Lopez in the 62nd minute of the match. Bernt Nässén was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Octavio Lopez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Octavio Lopez really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. 75 minutes into the match, The Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Marques came free, but Bernt Nässén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Leon Platense's Simon Marques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernt Nässén made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Pontus Lundström hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Bonifacio Salvino came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Leon Platense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Salvino couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd of the match, Bonifacio Salvino tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Bernt Nässén got in the way and made a wonderful save. Leon Platense were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after The Reds's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabian Ixidor took the corner. Fabian Ixidor made a great header on Leon Platense's corner, it was just that The Reds's Bernt Nässén managed to reach the ball for a save. Georg Christoffersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Alrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Roberto Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernt Nässén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Marques in the 95th minute of the match. Leon Platense's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
