After 16th play minutes Sven-Edvin Blixt shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Sérgio Salgado and just under the crossbar into goal. 21 minutes into the match, Malte Danielsson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of São Paulo F.C.'s Sérgio Salgado. Sérgio Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Wennersten during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Björnlunda IF getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Simon Wennersten hit a great ball. The Björnlunda IF fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Björnlunda IF's Sven-Edvin Blixt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 33 played minutes Björnlunda IF got a freekick which was hit by Simon Wennersten. José Paulo Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Ivarsson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionísio Catarinense in the 36th minute of play forced Björnlunda IF's goalkeeper Peter Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Danielsson in the 89th minute of play forced São Paulo F.C.'s goalkeeper Sérgio Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Björnlunda IF's goalkeeper Peter Ivarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Allan Figueiredo. Bo-Erik Grubb hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Sérgio Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Blixt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute Daniel Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Björnlunda IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
