The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leroy Kluttig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Ritchie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Barros in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, PoWer SC 2K5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philipp Breitner to maneuver through the defense. Ovidio Ritchie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Barros in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in PoWer SC 2K5's zone, Luisito Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Ritchie came out of the goal and Luisito Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosendo Martxelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leroy Kluttig in the 15th minute of play. Rosendo Martxelin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leroy Kluttig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper Ovidio Ritchie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rosendo Martxelin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leroy Kluttig in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match PoWer SC 2K5 got a corner. Berserkers FC Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benny Schweinsteiger ran over to the corner to take the kick. PoWer SC 2K5's Benny Schweinsteiger was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rosendo Martxelin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Killian Fischer got free with Rosendo Martxelin in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Luisito Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 22 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Barros came free, but Ovidio Ritchie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Berserkers FC Ψ booed when PoWer SC 2K5 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Klose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisito Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Ritchie having to interfere. A collision led to Berserkers FC Ψ getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Nicanor Eladio hit a great ball. Ovidio Ritchie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Luisito Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ovidio Ritchie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute of the game Max Babbel made a throw-in which Killian Fischer played forward. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leroy Kluttig made a kick off. Rosendo Martxelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leroy Kluttig, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Ovidio Ritchie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Barros in the 68th minute of play forced PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper Ovidio Ritchie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Luisito Barros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ovidio Ritchie. The goal made the score 0-1. Berserkers FC Ψ made a substitution. Alfonso Frisco replaced Luisito Barros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Klose in the 73rd minute of play forced Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Rosendo Martxelin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th match minute, Berserkers FC Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Eladio to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes Berserkers FC Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Ler. Benny Schweinsteiger struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Rosendo Martxelin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PoWer SC 2K5. After 80 minutes of play, Berserkers FC Ψ's Alfonso Frisco made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Ritchie was left in no man's land by his defense there! 84 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Frisco came free, but Ovidio Ritchie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Oliveiro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Muhittin Emek kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The Berserkers FC Ψ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Berserkers FC Ψ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
