In the 11th minute Eugenio Ixidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Ghimpu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Adevarul Pur's goalkeeper Bogdan Ghimpu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Behe. Severiano Petri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Penescu in the 19th minute of the match. Mihăiţă Costa hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Sebastian Beltza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bogdan Ghimpu skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Tauro in the 25th minute of play forced Adevarul Pur's goalkeeper Bogdan Ghimpu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Călimanescu in the 28th minute of play forced Centeno's goalkeeper Severiano Petri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Ghimpu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Ixidor in the 31st minute of play. Bogdan Ghimpu had great luck who in the 31stth minute grab hold of the ball when Eugenio Ixidor from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Adevarul Pur's Bogdan Ghimpu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Adevarul Pur from getting a goal against them. Dinu Romulus's late challenge caught a Centeno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinu Romulus helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Adevarul Pur getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Dinu Romulus hit a great ball. Severiano Petri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Penescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Filip Călimanescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adevarul Pur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centeno the free kick. After 40 played minutes Adevarul Pur got a freekick which was hit by Filip Călimanescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Tauro in the 43rd minute of play forced Adevarul Pur's goalkeeper Bogdan Ghimpu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Centeno's Eugenio Ixidor got a free kick in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Penescu in the 45th minute of play forced Centeno's goalkeeper Severiano Petri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gheorghe Penescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manuel Prunaru hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes Adevarul Pur got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Simionică. Bogdan Ghimpu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Bernebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Tauro in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Ghimpu saved Adevarul Pur from getting behind. Niceto Santio hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Gheorghe Penescu scored 0-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severiano Petri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute Gheorghe Penescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Petri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Adevarul Pur's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Bernebe came free, but Bogdan Ghimpu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Adevarul Pur's Manuel Prunaru got a free kick in the 80th minute. Vasile Dragomir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Petri having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Adevarul Pur's Dinu Romulus got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Adevarul Pur's Bogdan Ghimpu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Bernebe in the 97th minute of play. The Centeno supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Adevarul Pur's performance. The match ended with a win for Adevarul Pur.
