Jens-Ola Strömbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kornél Soltész in the 5th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Kvarnström to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Sandalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villiam Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Sandalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villiam Olofsson in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Villiam Olofsson in the 20th minute of play forced Leeton United FC's goalkeeper Ruben Sandalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Carson Sobezak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jens-Ola Strömbom, 1-0. In the 27th minute Villiam Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Leeton United FC's zone, Villiam Olofsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Sandalio came out of the goal and Villiam Olofsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Kornél Soltész reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jens-Ola Strömbom. The goal made the score 2-0. Leeton United FC's Ruben Sandalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villiam Olofsson in the 36th minute of play.

After 57 played minutes Leeton United FC got a freekick which was hit by Carver Tencer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Villiam Olofsson in the 58th minute of play forced Leeton United FC's goalkeeper Ruben Sandalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Sandalio was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Villiam Olofsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Villiam Olofsson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. 65 minutes into the match, Leeton United FC's goalkeeper Ruben Sandalio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Villiam Olofsson. 68 minutes into the game, Kelvin Castray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leeton United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Lions FC the free kick. Golden Lions FC's Jens-Ola Strömbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Dollamore in the 73rd minute of play. Jens-Ola Strömbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregg Alcock in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Golden Lions FC's Villiam Olofsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Gregg Alcock might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens-Ola Strömbom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregg Alcock ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the match, Leeton United FC's goalkeeper Ruben Sandalio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Villiam Olofsson. Villiam Olofssons short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Ruben Sandalio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Simon Kvarnström hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Kvarnström. Blade Angell didn't quite understand what happened when in the 93 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.
