An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Diniz in the 12th minute of play forced SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Alex Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When João Francisco Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SRP-Laguna's protests and gave João Francisco Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Facopo FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho de Lara. A collision led to SRP-Laguna getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ivo Dias hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Amaral in the 26th minute of play forced SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Alex Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristóvão Varela hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes, Facopo FBPA's Duda Favoretto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alex Sarmento came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Facopo FBPA reached it. Alex Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Amaral in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of SRP-Laguna booed when Facopo FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitório Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, SRP-Laguna's Alex Sarmento got control of the ball when Jorge Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Moreno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 58th minute of the match, Jorge Amaral got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alex Sarmento was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Tavares in the 58th minute of play forced Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Maria Chute managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SRP-Laguna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maria Chute was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Facopo FBPA's Osvaldinho Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maria Chute in the 68th minute of play. Osvaldinho Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Tavares in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Varela came free, but Osvaldinho Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldinho Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Osvaldinho Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maria Chute in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Edgar Tavares made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldinho Moreno. Facopo FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Alex Sarmento came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Facopo FBPA's Jorge Amaral. But to his dismay, Jorge Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
