Virgilio Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Caballero in the 5th minute of play. Khachatryan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hu Wei Shu in the 6th minute. Virgilio Pacifico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hu Wei Shu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arin Mndoyants in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Khachatryan's Arin Khachaturyan got a free kick in the 13th minute. Nick Starks short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Levon Sarkisyan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brian McKinney kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Virgilio Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arin Mndoyants in the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Khachatryan's goalkeeper Levon Sarkisyan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brian McKinney made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arin Khachaturyan. If Bin Baresi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Levon Sarkisyan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yağızhan Yurdaşen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27thth minute of the game Yağızhan Yurdaşen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Khachatryan's Levon Sarkisyan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Khachatryan's zone, Iker Galo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Levon Sarkisyan came out of the goal and Iker Galo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Khachatryan's Hu Wei Shu got a free kick in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Iker Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Galo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Levon Sarkisyan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virgilio Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bin Baresi in the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Hu Wei Shu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgilio Pacifico was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Arin Khachaturyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Virgilio Pacifico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nick Stark to make the kick off. Virgilio Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arin Mndoyants in the 54th minute of the match. Virgilio Pacifico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hu Wei Shu, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Khachatryan's Grigor Grigoryan was substituted for Bernardo Caballero. The supporters of Patricio Rey Futbol Club booed when Khachatryan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hu Wei Shu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hu Wei Shu hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Patricio Rey Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Khachatryan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ferdinand Agachi took the corner. After a rather tough play, Khachatryan's Grigor Grigoryan got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Nick Stark who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Khachatryan's Levon Sarkisyan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arin Mndoyants came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Virgilio Pacifico could save by the left post. Virgilio Pacifico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arin Mndoyants in the 83rd minute. Arin Mndoyants spun around in front of the goal 85 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goal. A collision led to Patricio Rey Futbol Club getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Álvaro Coelho hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Khachatryan's Arin Mndoyants ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Virgilio Pacifico. Virgilio Pacifico yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Virgilio Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hu Wei Shu in the 93rd minute of play. Khachatryan's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
