Silver Play 2's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonny Ahlström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Silver Play 2's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Kråk came free, but Tomás Lucila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petar Hubchev during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Petar Hubchev kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Rönnöfors FF's Leif Hammarberg got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Jonny Ahlström notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Silver Play 2's Tomás Lucila. Tomás Lucila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomás Lucila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Flinck in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Flinck in the 19th minute of play forced Silver Play 2's goalkeeper Tomás Lucila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes, Claudio-Darío Martel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silver Play 2 and the Rönnöfors FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Silver Play 2's Claudio-Darío Martel got a free kick in the 20th minute. Rönnöfors FF's Leif Hammarberg got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd match minute, Silver Play 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petar Hubchev to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Lucila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonny Ahlström, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Silver Play 2's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Mede couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the game, Haroldo Corderun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Frank Högström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Rönnöfors FF were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erling Flinck was the one to do the kick off. Tomás Lucila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Hammarberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rönnöfors FF were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Silver Play 2's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leif Hammarberg took the corner. Silver Play 2's Silvio Dubardo was substituted for Qu Ling Lin. In the 60th minute Rönnöfors FF were awarded a corner. Leif Hammarberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Rönnöfors FF's Leif Hammarberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomás Lucila in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Silver Play 2's zone, Peter Hellbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Lucila came out of the goal and Peter Hellbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Corderun in the 62nd minute of play forced Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Frank Högström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Högström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Dubardo in the 65th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Corderun came free, but Frank Högström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Rönnöfors FF getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Kjell Nordstedt hit a great ball. Tomás Lucila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Kråk in the 77th minute of the match. Tomás Lucila was a little too slow when Leif Hammarberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-4. Frank Högström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. When Erling Flinck came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Rönnöfors FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erling Flinck couldn't finish the play.
