A sloppy throw-in by Amadeu Matos in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La Cosa Nostra's Everardo Regis. 15 minutes into the game, Everardo Regis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernando Courtois. Everardo Regis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A hard shot 18 in the game by Everardo Regis from a close distance when the talented Fernando Courtois managed to make a qualified save. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s players were relieved. Everardo Regis struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Fernando Courtois didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Cosa Nostra. After 23 played minutes ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Faria. Fernando Courtois came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by La Cosa Nostra's Everardo Regis. But to his dismay, Everardo Regis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 31 minutes, Lorenzo Rico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Cosa Nostra and the ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Lorenzo Rico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Jorginho Vargas sped through La Cosa Nostra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Casimiro Pacorro. In the 36th match minute, La Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Madeo to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Regis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Rico got free with Fernando Courtois in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alan Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Everardo Regis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Courtois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. La Cosa Nostra's Albano Madeo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Toninho Varela in the 62 minute of the game. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Toninho Varela with Amadeu Matos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
