The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Mazza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo José Cavalcante in the 53rd minute of play forced ARAUCARIA FC's goalkeeper Luizinho Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. ARAUCARIA FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
