Abel Bueno came out of the goal and Franco Persichetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Mario Dostie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Abel Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Bani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinando Volpe in the 11th minute of the match. When Ferdinando Volpe got free in front of the goal in the 12th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Abel Bueno was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 2-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Mario Dostie elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Volpe in the 17th minute of play. A hard shot 21 in the game by Mario Dostie from a close distance when the talented Corrado Gentili managed to make a qualified save. Lupi Grigi's players were relieved. In the 23rd match minute, Lupi Grigi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercole Giordano to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Junior Stover dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Fulvio Tristezza was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lupi Grigi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Denver Grimes shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Olin Munster kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Qikiqtarjuaq FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Mario Dostie hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinando Volpe made a kick off. Ferdinando Volpe charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinando Volpe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Denver Grimes's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Corrado Gentili on his right side and into the goal. 51 minutes into the game it was 4-0. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Olin Munster got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Abel Bueno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franco Persichetti's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When Edoardo Campese came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Lupi Grigi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Campese couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Lupi Grigi's Ferdinando Volpe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abel Bueno. Abel Bueno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. After 71 played minutes Lupi Grigi got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Disastro. Corrado Gentili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Dostie, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Amos Belardi hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Mario Dostie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Gentili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lupi Grigi's Corrado Gentili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Dostie in the 86th minute of play. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
