The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pitt Frøne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Izzo in the 3rd minute of the match. Mario Gellel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Righi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Otto Fesik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Gellel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Gellel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otto Fesik went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Fesik in the 16th minute of play forced Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Mario Gellel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Otto Fesik notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Attard Gunners's Mario Gellel. Mario Gellel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, PICCOLE PESTI's Pitt Frøne got control of the ball when Andrea Xuereb tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 25 minutes of play, PICCOLE PESTI's Otto Fesik made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Gellel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute Carmine Righi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Gellel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute Andrea Xuereb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pitt Frøne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otto Fesik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37thth minute of the game Patrick Izzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PICCOLE PESTI's Pitt Frøne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Otto Fesik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mario Gellel was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. When PICCOLE PESTI's Otto Fesik in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. PICCOLE PESTI's Pitt Frøne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Izzo in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rdth minute of the game Otto Fesik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Attard Gunners's Mario Gellel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Otto Fesik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mario Gellel. Otto Fesik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Carlo Bocchi hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, PICCOLE PESTI's Otto Fesik ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mario Gellel. Mario Gellel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Carmine Righi in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mario Gellel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Testaferrata Olivier in the 69th minute of play forced PICCOLE PESTI's goalkeeper Pitt Frøne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leo Tabone was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. After 72 played minutes Attard Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Leo Tabone. Mario Gellel was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Otto Fesik capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Otto Fesik really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. PICCOLE PESTI's Emanuele Melis was substituted for Otto Fesik. 79 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's Emanuele Melis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Gellel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emanuele Melis took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Gellel. Mario Gellel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Emanuele Melis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Gellel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. PICCOLE PESTI were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Attard Gunners's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Biagio Volta took the corner. PICCOLE PESTI's Biagio Volta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mario Gellel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mario Gellel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuele Melis went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 96th play minute Emanuele Melis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mario Gellel. 0-9. PICCOLE PESTI's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
