With an all-out effort, AFC Koolkerke's Orlondo Amer threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arnold Peten, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Arnold Peten took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Orlondo Amer to make any attempt to save it. Lucero Mezquita scored 1-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Staf De Ketelaere, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of AFC Koolkerke booed when Sperides was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucero Iniesta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes AFC Koolkerke got a freekick which was hit by Robby Van Malcot. After having played for 37 minutes, Arnold Peten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Koolkerke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnold Peten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AFC Koolkerke's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tim-Jan Billen in the 42nd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucero Mezquita was the one to do the kick off. Staf De Ketelaere was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucero Mezquita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 51 minute of play. In the 56th minute, Petronio Rapado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Hidalgo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Staf De Ketelaere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Staf De Ketelaere didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucero Mezquita went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Lucero Mezquita took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Staf De Ketelaere to make any attempt to save it. Staf De Ketelaere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petronio Rapado in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucero Mezquita in the 74th minute of play forced AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Staf De Ketelaere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Lucero Mezquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staf De Ketelaere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnold Peten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlondo Amer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Robby Van Malcot's late challenge caught a Sperides's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robby Van Malcot helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sperides booed when AFC Koolkerke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robby Van Malcot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sperides's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
