Socavon FC's Ieltxu Orbaneja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Ramos in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Luiz Guilherme Simão got control of the ball when Intxixu Huarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Mijailo Mudryk came free, but Luiz Guilherme Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vítor das Neves fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DIPLOMATA FC PAB's protests and gave Vítor das Neves a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Vítor das Neves got a free kick in the 10th minute. Luiz Guilherme Simão made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Zuhaitz Artiaga sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of DIPLOMATA FC PAB booed when Socavon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Horbea didn't get a good kick on the ball. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Luiz Guilherme Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mijailo Mudryk in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Zuhaitz Artiaga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Socavon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DIPLOMATA FC PAB the free kick. In the 18th minute, Zuhaitz Artiaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mijailo Mudryk struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Luiz Guilherme Simão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Socavon FC. After having played for 22 minutes, Waldir Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldir Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 25 minutes, Rodrigo Nestor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DIPLOMATA FC PAB and the Socavon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodrigo Nestor kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Santo Pablo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Socavon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Pablo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zuhaitz Artiaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme Simão having to interfere. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Socavon FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romeu Tinoco was slow to take the kick. During this time DIPLOMATA FC PAB's players had a chance to rest. Romeu Tinoco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ieltxu Orbaneja. Socavon FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ieltxu Orbaneja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Nestor, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 43 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Nestor. After 44 minutes, Wágner Souto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DIPLOMATA FC PAB and the Socavon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of DIPLOMATA FC PAB:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Socavon FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Socavon FC's Zuhaitz Artiaga got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luiz Guilherme Simão. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edvaldo Peixoto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Zuhaitz Artiaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Guilherme Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes of play DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Wágner Souto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Wágner Souto hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Espiridion Ascot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidencio Lima in the 66th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's Intxixu Huarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Guilherme Simão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Socavon FC got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Dorronsoro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Intxixu Huarte in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Guilherme Simão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Socavon FC's Ieltxu Orbaneja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Socavon FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 81 minutes, Zuhaitz Artiaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Socavon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zuhaitz Artiaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Fernando Ferreira's late challenge caught a Socavon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Fernando Ferreira helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Socavon FC booed when DIPLOMATA FC PAB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fernando Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Guilherme Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Intxixu Huarte in the 97th minute of play.
