After a rather tough play, Monky FC's Faustino Ospetsu got a free kick in the 27th minute. Gaston Boniel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dariusz Brudnicki. In the 29th play minute Janar Taelma came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gaston Boniel. 1-1. In the 32nd minute Venancio Ricart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Hani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Janar Taelma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Raimundo Panfilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 61 minutes, Kuldar Vall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Muuga United and the Monky FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Monky FC booed when FC Muuga United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kuldar Vall didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monky FC! Üllar Vagula shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some careless play in the FC Muuga United defense, Venancio Ricart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Hani. The FC Muuga United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Hani should have stopped the shot. The FC Muuga United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Monky FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Monky FC.
