Özer Şikel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Ricart in the 2nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ's Yılmaz Candar got a free kick in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Ourente came free, but Özer Şikel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özer Şikel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Ricart in the 7th minute of play. In the 13th minute Venancio Ricart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özer Şikel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Venancio Ricart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Monky FC's goalkeeper Gaston Boniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oğuz Mengüer. Monky FC's Gaston Boniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Monky FC from getting a goal against them. Onur Candar kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Venancio Ricart took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Özer Şikel. Özer Şikel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gaston Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Barkan in the 33rd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oğuz Mengüer to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ's goalkeeper Özer Şikel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Belarmo. The supporters of KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ booed when Monky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Tonete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ozan Candar struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Gaston Boniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ. Cleto Ourente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özer Şikel having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Özer Şikel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ defense, Venancio Ricart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Özer Şikel. The KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Özer Şikel should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Özer Şikel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Venancio Ricart received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Özer Şikel came out and tried to block the shot, but Venancio Ricart slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Belarmo got free with Özer Şikel in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Onur Candar hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match.
