An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Abancens in the 4th minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Joos Van Looy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Cesar Abancens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester Quijano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cesar Abancens took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joos Van Looy. Joos Van Looy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Joos Van Looy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Abancens in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Basilio Manny ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joos Van Looy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 25th minute Basilio Manny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joos Van Looy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joos Van Looy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Rito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damaso Celino hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesar Abancens to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basilio Manny got free with Joos Van Looy in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joost Cockaerts hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Silver Squad AFC's Joos Van Looy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Poncio in the 65th minute of play. Joos Van Looy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basilio Manny went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Silver Squad AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Damaso Celino scored to the left of an out of position Joos Van Looy, making the score, 0-8. In the 74th minute, Basilio Manny ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joos Van Looy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. 84 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Joos Van Looy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basilio Manny. 86 minutes into the game, Manchester Quijano's Esteban Poncio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joos Van Looy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. 92 minutes into the match, Manchester Quijano's goal looked a bit too open when Tommie Andriesens came free, but Clud Almagro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manchester Quijano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
