Mattæus Bøtner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ante Lukaku in the 14th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Azibar Jiron came free, but Mattæus Bøtner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azibar Jiron in the 16th minute of play forced Skellerup FC's goalkeeper Mattæus Bøtner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goalkeeper Mattæus Bøtner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ante Lukaku. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Azibar Jiron in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mattæus Bøtner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute AFC Viola Gigliati were awarded a corner. Bembe Lucio went to the cornerflag to take it. AFC Viola Gigliati's Bembe Lucio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mattæus Bøtner in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ruben Lockwood spun around in front of the goal 28 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Skellerup FC's goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Azibar Jiron got free with Mattæus Bøtner in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Lockwood came free, but Mattæus Bøtner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The supporters of AFC Viola Gigliati booed when Skellerup FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 80th minute Zigor Ruescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattæus Bøtner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristjan Høgaard kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. AFC Viola Gigliati made a substitution. Alvarez Marchamalo replaced Jasper Agoos.
