Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Ekaitz in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernani Xavier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernani Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agung Gultom in the 7th minute of play. Ernani Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Ekaitz in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Premier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agung Gultom came free, but Ernani Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Premier FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Aílton de Queirós hit a great ball. Ernani Xavier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agung Gultom's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Edgardo Ekaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Xavier having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Premier FC got a freekick which was hit by Aílton de Queirós. 23 minutes into the match, Premier FC's Oswaldo Alvarenga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teddy Apriantara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Cauan Barros fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Premier FC's protests and gave Cauan Barros a yellow card for diving instead. Cauan Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Treno Lentoft charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Treno Lentoft the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BASEL FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Treno Lentoft hit a great ball. Teddy Apriantara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauan Barros in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Dadá da Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Premier FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 40th minute, Oswaldo Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BASEL FC's Edgardo Ekaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá da Costa in the 53rd minute of play forced BASEL FC's goalkeeper Teddy Apriantara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to BASEL FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Adjat Dinanto hit a great ball. When Agung Gultom came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the BASEL FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agung Gultom couldn't finish the play. Edgardo Ekaitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernani Xavier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Ekaitz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute of the match, Edgardo Ekaitz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernani Xavier saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cauan Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teddy Apriantara having to interfere. Teddy Apriantara came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Premier FC's Dadá da Costa. But to his dismay, Dadá da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Edgardo Ekaitz came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the BASEL FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Ekaitz couldn't finish the play. After 93 played minutes BASEL FC got a freekick which was hit by Randy Nugroho. Premier FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
