Los Delfines's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Iruinea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 14th minute, Adrián Serena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Catarinense got free with Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Zuberbühler FC booed when Los Delfines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Veto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmacio Edwardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Romero in the 22nd minute of play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Jonathan Iruinea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zuberbühler FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 42nd minute, Cristobal Markel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmacio Edwardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The supporters of Zuberbühler FC booed when Los Delfines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Hats didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th match minute, Los Delfines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Rosio to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestino Hats to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Iruinea got free with Dalmacio Edwardo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Illan in the 58th minute of the match. If Pedro Donio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Feliciano Harri replaced Casimiro Romero. Cecilio Ireno hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Los Delfines's Sergio Berti got a free kick in the 85th minute. Dalmacio Edwardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Harri, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goalkeeper Dalmacio Edwardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Iruinea. In the 90th match minute, Zuberbühler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Donio to maneuver through the defense. After 91 played minutes, Los Delfines's Daniel Catarinense shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Delfines reached it. Los Delfines's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Feliciano Harri scored to the left of an out of position Dalmacio Edwardo, making the score, 0-7.
