Zabulón Carabajal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonhard Tenbergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Philipp Van Kestbeek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Rösner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevin Rösner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joery Hylen in the 23rd minute of the match. FC Germania München's Kevin Rösner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philipp Van Kestbeek in the 29th minute of play. Hanno Rau's late challenge caught a FC Klavertje Vier's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hanno Rau helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, FC Germania München was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hanno Rau to maneuver through the defense. When Balduin Kühlem fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Germania München's protests and gave Balduin Kühlem a yellow card for diving instead. Balduin Kühlem hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philipp Van Kestbeek in the 41st minute of play forced FC Germania München's goalkeeper Kevin Rösner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eckard Riemann made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philipp Van Kestbeek got free with Kevin Rösner in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC Klavertje Vier getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Iwan Marchefka hit a great ball. FC Klavertje Vier's Jaspar Westelinx was substituted for Oscar Van Aerschot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eckard Riemann in the 69th minute of play forced FC Klavertje Vier's goalkeeper Zabulón Carabajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zinon Potamias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Zinon Potamias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes FC Klavertje Vier got a freekick which was hit by Zinon Potamias. Zabulón Carabajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balduin Kühlem in the 80th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Angelo Di Maria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Klavertje Vier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Joery Hylen sped through FC Germania München's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kevin Rösner. Kevin Rösner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertrand Sielens in the 95th minute. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Angelo Di Maria took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Kevin Rösner to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded FC Klavertje Vier left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Germania München.
