Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christian Eleder started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Marco Overmars had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anier Txurio. Ruquense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Overmars was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Overmars got free with Anier Txurio in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anier Txurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Overmars, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruquense FC's Anier Txurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Overmars in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Fitz Hubbard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Overmars in the 16th minute of play forced Ruquense FC's goalkeeper Anier Txurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Overmars had several of the Ruquense FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Anier Txurio as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 25th minute Marco Overmars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Txurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Llorienzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Marco Overmars dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anier Txurio, 3-0. The supporters of Clapham Comets F.C. booed when Ruquense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Vincente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th match minute, Ruquense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Francesco to maneuver through the defense. Marco Overmars didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 5-0 via right post in the game's 42nd minute. Clapham Comets F.C.'s supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 44 played minutes Clapham Comets F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Conan Wiseman. Ruquense FC's Christian Eleder got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Overmars made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Conan Wiseman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute Santos Bartuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conan Shields saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Geoff Ansell got a free kick in the 61st minute. Christian Eleder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Conan Shields tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Marco Overmars nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anier Txurio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 74thth minute of the game Marco Overmars who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruquense FC's Anier Txurio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th match minute, Clapham Comets F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Bambrook to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Clapham Comets F.C. booed when Ruquense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Eleder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anier Txurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Overmars in the 82nd minute of the match. Anier Txurio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fitz Hubbard went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Nicolas Remicio kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Marco Overmars sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ruquense FC's Anier Txurio didn't even have to move. Ruquense FC's Anier Txurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoff Ansell in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 minutes Ruquense FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marco Overmars who took care of the corner kick. Marco Overmars made a great header on Clapham Comets F.C.'s corner, it was just that Ruquense FC's Anier Txurio managed to reach the ball for a save. Clapham Comets F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
