Ruquense FC's Aquilino Beltza got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michel Seco acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from German Vincente. 23 minutes into the match, Vila Nova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Bartuelo came free, but Michel Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Breno Recife put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anier Txurio. A collision led to Ruquense FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aquilino Beltza hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Ramiro Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Txurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Eleder was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Ruquense FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Christian Eleder hit a great ball. After 52 minutes, Adhemar Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vila Nova FC and the Ruquense FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Adhemar Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vila Nova FC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Ruquense FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Breno Recife took the corner. After a rather tough play, Vila Nova FC's Conrado Paes got a free kick in the 59th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Vila Nova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Beltza came free, but Michel Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ruquense FC booed when Vila Nova FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurinho Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Bartuelo in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Seco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vila Nova FC's Michel Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Eleder in the 71st minute of play. Anier Txurio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Breno Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, one of Ruquense FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ruquense FC. 94 minutes into the game, Breno Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vila Nova FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ruquense FC the free kick. In the 94th match minute, Vila Nova FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno Recife to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the game, Christian Eleder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Michel Seco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
