In the 20th minute, FC Zohy's Feliks Fiszer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. A collision led to HFA FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Abel Estevez hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the game, Abel Estevez threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Zohy's Boruc Dlugi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cao Bang Wei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Fiszer in the 34th minute of play forced HFA FC's goalkeeper Gordon Banks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Estevon in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kang Le Yu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Cesario in the 38th minute of play forced FC Zohy's goalkeeper Kang Le Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejo Cesario took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kang Le Yu. Kang Le Yu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 42nd minute, FC Zohy's Feliks Fiszer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gordon Banks. Gordon Banks yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Joel Eder kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Czeslaw Kloczko managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Aureliusz Mazierski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gordon Banks having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, HFA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Estevez to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermengildo Gorka during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Zohy booed when HFA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Gorka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gordon Banks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliks Fiszer, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Feliks Fiszer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gordon Banks having to make a save. Candido Estevon might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kang Le Yu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Candido Estevon ran back to his position shaking his head. Gordon Banks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Dlugi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gordon Banks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, HFA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliks Fiszer came free, but Gordon Banks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cao Bang Wei in the 96th minute of play forced HFA FC's goalkeeper Gordon Banks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Zohy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
