Atlético Guidovalense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arnaldo Pedriza ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arnaldo Pedriza made a great header on Fillos de Breogán's corner, it was just that Atlético Guidovalense's Zé Veloso managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 48th minute, Olívio Cerezo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adán Fuentes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olívio Cerezo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olívio Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Adán Fuentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damario Cardeñosa's late challenge caught a Atlético Guidovalense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damario Cardeñosa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Fillos de Breogán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damario Cardeñosa to maneuver through the defense. Fillos de Breogán's Arnaldo Pedriza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dráuzio Leite, made in the 70th minute of the game. In the 77th play minute Camel Pinto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Adán Fuentes. 3-4. In the 81st minute, Camel Pinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adán Fuentes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Cerezo in the 85th minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Adán Fuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético Guidovalense's Aílton de Amorim got a free kick in the 91st minute. If Xesus Galaiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Atlético Guidovalense supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atlético Guidovalense would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
