The referee ignored Pilar FC's protests and gave Nicolas Valentini a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pilar FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Nicolas Valentini hit a great ball. KINGS FC were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Pilar FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Isidro Vigário took the corner. Luca Langoni might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Germano Tristão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luca Langoni ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to KINGS FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Américo Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agustin Orion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luca Langoni to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaston Eron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Germano Tristão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pilar FC booed when KINGS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Seabra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Firmo got free with Germano Tristão in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júlio Seabra in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agustin Orion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Germano Tristão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Artizar in the 79th minute of the match.
