After a defensive mix-up in Galand FC's zone, Uriel Hever stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ari Haakana came out of the goal and Uriel Hever tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9thth minute of the game Veikka Sorsa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Margarita's Gavino Olo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on Galand FC's corner Toivo Suoste fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gavino Olo quite easily take care of the ball. Higinio Urti struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ari Haakana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Margarita. Ari Haakana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higinio Urti's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Higinio Urti put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ari Haakana. Eelis Kaven's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gavino Olo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Veikka Sorsa struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. In the 39th minute, Tauno Pärssinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Evelio Medardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ari Haakana. Galand FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evelio Medardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The supporters of Margarita booed when Galand FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuutti Kuki didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Higinio Urti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ari Haakana. That made the score 0-6 in the 79 minute of play. Ari Haakana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Urti in the 83rd minute of play. Alfred Häkkinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galand FC's Ari Haakana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Galand FC from getting a goal against them. Veikka Sorsa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gavino Olo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Margarita could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Galand FC throughout the match.
