After a rather tough play, Riverzone's Ignacio Oinatz got a free kick in the 4th minute. A collision led to Jazz getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Alfredo Pierdomenico hit a great ball. Ildefonso Bero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Vieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Solari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Bianco Schiavio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ildefonso Bero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Vieri in the 14th minute of the match. Antonello Catini hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Bianco Schiavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Solari, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Pablo Solari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Schiavio having to interfere. In the 25th minute Fabiano Vieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Bero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Vieri in the 30th minute of play forced Riverzone's goalkeeper Ildefonso Bero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Jazz's Alessandro Cusumano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ildefonso Bero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ildefonso Bero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Carafa in the 34th minute of play. Matías Kranevitter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Schiavio having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Jazz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damiano Pedroni to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st match minute, Jazz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Comunardo Iacomini to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Riverzone's goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Vieri came free, but Ildefonso Bero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carmine Vieri to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Carmine Vieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Bero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Riverzone got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Solari. 58 minutes into the game, one of Jazz:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 60th minute, Matías Kranevitter made a precise shot to the right of Bianco Schiavio. Jazz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Pablo Solari, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bianco Schiavio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Ignacio Oinatz came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Riverzone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Oinatz couldn't finish the play. Pablo Solari took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bianco Schiavio. Bianco Schiavio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The audience was convinced that Pablo Solari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bianco Schiavio was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Ignacio Oinatz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riverzone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After having played for 87 minutes, Matías Kranevitter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riverzone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matías Kranevitter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Riverzone fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Riverzone's Pablo Solari looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 95th minute, Jazz's Carmine Vieri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ildefonso Bero. Ildefonso Bero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. Riverzone were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Jazz for a fine match.
